![]() Gary Denick Bass Guitar / Vocals |
Gary was born on Christmas Eve and grew up listening to what we now know as classic rock. Only it wasn’t classic rock at the time. It was the music that shaped a generation and captured Gary’s imagination, fueled his dreams and motivated him to learn to play the guitar. He has been playing the guitar and bass for better than thirty five years and is now the bass player in Shortness of Breath. “I’ve played in many bands over the years but this one is special. There is a unique mix of personality, work ethic and chemistry that make this musical project a joy,” says Gary. “Come see, hear and experience Shortness of Breath.”

Ian grew up in Washington State on the great music of the 60's and 70's. Is it any wonder blues based rock runs so deep in his blood? Over the past 20+ years Ian has lived in many places and has played his guitar with many great musicians along the way, including Sundance, Daybreak, and Over-Bored. He has since settled down and now calls Front Royal, VA area home. "Being a part Shortness of Breath has resurrected my love for music. Fate has had a hand in forming this unique group of musicians. We are all from different times and places and yet we find ourselves here, now."
